Monthly Service & Memorial - open to public -
祥月法要・法話
Every month, we hold a Monthly Service & Memorial at Zenshuji. It is often (but not always) held on the third Sunday of each month at 11:00 a.m. The service consists of chanting four relatively short sutras. The head priest then reads the names of particular deceased family members, the names of families in attendance, and there is also an opportunity for each person to offer incense. Following this, Dharma talks are given: one in Japanese and one in English. Everyone is then invited to have lunch with the Zenshuji community.
