MAY & JUNE 2020 EVENTS
STAY SAFE AND WEAR YOUR MASK!
Dear Zenshuji Members, Families and Friends,
Thank you for following the Preventative Guidelines of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) to keep yourself, family and community safe. It seems that we have not peeked yet so we will be staying at home for several more months. By doing our part, we are trying to avoid the devastation like New York. We don’t know what the future holds for us but the longer we are in the ‘STAY AT HOME’ restriction, the harder it will be emotionally, financially and socially. But by following the restrictions, and guidelines like wearing a mask if you need to go out, we will all be doing our individual parts.
Your support is of utmost importance to Zenshuji. If you know of a member, family or friend who might need our help please notify the ministers. We will do whatever we can whether it is getting food, making a welfare call, or sending a caring message. If you need help, please call the ministers, Fujinkai member, or a Board Member.
Also, Zenshuji missed out on the revenue of Hanamatsuri, April Monthly / Memorial Service, Pancake Breakfast, Private Services, and Room Rental Fees. If you are able to donate to Zenshuji $20, $50, or more, please send it in mail. We don’t want to cause hardship to anyone but your donation will be greatly appreciated.
Please take care of yourselves and those of your family. Remember to stay at home as much as possible and call on aging relatives, close friends, and families with young children. Together we will succeed to fight this virus.
Gassho,
Rev. Shumyo Kojima
Rev. Daiki Toho & Rev. Ryoko Miyazaki

We are right currently in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic: the novel coronavirus. Many people have already died, while even more people's lives are being threatened by this virus. We spend each day with an abnormal sense of mental and financial uncertainty, not knowing how long this will last. However, this is not the first time humanity has experienced such uncertainty.
.............................
