ZEN AEROBICS: A Healthy Living Class
Starting on January 22, Sunday, Zenshuji will be offering a new class, Zen Aerobics: A Healthy Living Class, 14 Sundays from January 22 to April 30, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Zen Aerobics: A Healthy Living Class is a new program based on the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha. The goal of the class is to improve and maintain health and spiritual well being using the Shorinji Kempo self defense philosophy that the body and mind are one, 拳禅一如, Ken Zen Ichi Nyo. The students will be instructed 1) Physical exercise,
2) Spiritual exercise, 3) Relaxation. ALL AGES WELCOME!

CASINO NIGHT & SILENT AUCTION - MARCH 4TH
We are excited to announce that on Saturday, March 4th, 2017,
Zenshuji will be holding the 10th Annual Casino Night & Silent
Auction Fundraiser. Much like our annual Obon Festival, temple
members and friends play an important role in making this
fundraising event a success. There are several ways you (or
your company) can support this charitable event:
1. Sponsor a table: Sponsor a casino table for $100. Your name
will be prominently displayed at each table you sponsor. Your
generosity will also be highlighted in our printed program and
announced during the course of the evening.
2. Be a Cash Patron: Make a cash donation (of any amount) to help defray the cost associated with the event. Your generosity will be highlighted in our printed program and announced during the course of the evening.
3. Make a donation to the silent auction / raffle: Donate merchandise, services, gifts certificates, tickets, passes, etc. Besides new items, antiques that can be appraised are gladly accepted! Your support will be highlighted in our printed program and announced during the course of the evening.
4. Order tickets and attend event: For each $30 ticket purchased, you will receive dinner, entertainment, drink tickets, raffle tickets, gambling chips... and a night of fun!
5. Volunteer: Give a gift of time. Volunteer to assist with tickets sales, donor solicitation, decorations, entertainment, advertising, raffles, food and beverages, set-up, etc.

JAPAN TOUR - MAY 2017
We are happy to announce that Zenshuji is planning a Japan trip in May with the 65th Goeika national convention in Fukui prefecture. You will be visiting the Soto Zen head temples, Eiheiji and Sojiji besides sightseeing in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Shiga.
