58TH OBON CARNIVAL - July 9 &10th
Zenshuji Obon Carnival is on the 9th and the 10th this year. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We need everyone’s help to make this event a success. Please volunteer whenever you can. Thank you for your continuous support for Zenshuji. Please enjoy the event with your whole family.

OBON PARKING
It has been very difficult to secure parking for Obon these days since there are so many new buildings have been built around Zenshuji. If you remember, there was nothing around the temple not so long ago.
Here is the parking situation this year. We have several lots. Please see the permit map below for details. Parking is free with this permit. Stop by at Zenshuji Obon Carnival and pick up the Parking Map/Permit.
#1 Main Lot: Across the 1st street, please enter from Temple street.
#2 Kato’s Sewing Machine Lot: Reserved for Handicap
#3 830 Traction St: 20 spaces available
#4 300 S. Central Ave: Available after 2 pm - *Shuttle service
#5 360 S. Alameda St:: All available - *Shuttle service
#6 713 E. 3rd St: Reserved for Performers
*Shuttle service runs between Zenshuji, Lot #4 and #5
from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.
