MONTHLY POT-LUCK LUNCHEON
Join us for the ‘POT-LUCK LUNCHEON’ after Monthly / Memorial Service each month at Zenshuji. Pot-Luck Luncheon will replace the Daruma-Kai (club) Luncheon. We invite everyone to participate in the social hour by bringing a simple favorite dish. We have many talented cooks so just bring a dish or pick up a dish from your favorite local place. If you have a busy schedule and can’t cook that Sunday, please join us anyway. We continue to welcome everyone to eat, talk and relax before hitting the road home.
THANK YOU TO DARUMA-KAI and FUJINKAI! The Daruma-Kai and Fujinkai have been very generous over the past decade to provide lunch for our members. The idea to relax and enjoy each other’s company with a little food was developed by MR. MINORU MATSUMOTO, MR. HENRY MATSUMOTO and MR. BEN MURA. Since many of our member and families come from the Los Angeles and Orange County suburbs, they decided to form a social group so after service everyone can talk and catch up on the latest news, sing songs, play games, celebrate birthdays, etc. We will continue to talk, share news, celebrate birthdays, etc. before heading home. We hope that by having everyone participate, the members will be more comfortable staying and enjoying lunch together.
